Nurse-made

Made by a nurse who needed this first

I started college on a full academic scholarship, and I flunked out my first year. The reason turned out to be undiagnosed ADHD, something I did not learn until right before my first semester of nursing school. By then I had already lost the scholarship and started over at a community college.

Nursing school was my second chance at a degree and a career, and it only worked once I stopped trying to memorize my way through and started building systems to actually think. The tools in Corde are the ones I built for myself: ways to find what matters first, connect the why behind the work, and walk into a shift with my head organized.

More than five years later, I am a nurse with a master's in nursing informatics, I work in tech, and I finished my bachelor's at the same university I once failed out of. Corde exists so the next student does not have to lose years figuring out how to learn. The content was never the problem. The thinking was.

Nursing is a thinking profession. Recall keeps you afloat. Reasoning keeps your patients safe.

Corde is built for the second one. The tools are made to connect the why behind the work, so you walk into clinical, into report, and into the room knowing how to think, not just what to repeat.
